March fom Gettysburg, 1863

Dear Journal,

I know it has been some time since I have written but things are
still rather excitable here. We left Gettysburg a week ago. I 
still can't beleive the suffering I saw there. I am getting a few 
days leave and am planning to go home and see my family. I hope 
that I have not changed that much considering what I have seen. 

Well, the train is leaving and I must board or face waiting for 
the 5:15 to arrive. I think I will write about the times before 
I had to go to Gettysburg on the ride home.
